Kelly Clarkson is sharing details about her new diet and exercise regimen, as well as how she lost weight.

As part of her overall wellness regimen, the 41-year-old singer and daytime talk show hostess revealed to People magazine that she has “dropped weight.” She moved to New York City with “The Kelly Clarkson Show” last year.

“City walking is a great way to get in shape. These days, I’m really into infrared saunas. And I simply took a severe drop because everyone tired me out,” the “Piece by Piece” singer remarked of the adjustments.

Clarkson isn’t going overboard with her diet.

She said, “I eat a healthy mix.” “I lost weight because I followed my doctor’s advice—for a few years, I didn’t. I’m also pretty good at it 90% of the time because I benefit from a high-protein diet anyway. I’m a Texas girl, so I apologize to all vegetarians worldwide—I like meat!I still indulge, though. The Grammy winner continued, “I had a frozen yogurt with my daughter the other night, and it was magical. I share my son Remington, 7, and daughter River Rose, 9, with my ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.

Clarkson has previously discussed losing weight while treating autoimmune and thyroid conditions she was having. In order to address the problems, the “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” singer altered her diet. As a result, she lost roughly 37 pounds, which she revealed to “Today’s” Hoda Kotb in 2018.

At the time, Clarkson remarked, “I know the industry loves the weight gone, but for me, it wasn’t really the weight.”

When Jenna Bush Hager of “Today” and her twin sister, Barbara Pierce Bush, appeared on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” in November of last year, Clarkson and Jenna got close over their shared struggles with weight.

Clarkson displayed a picture of Jenna and Barbara in identical childhood outfits during the talk.

About the dresses she and her sister were sporting in the photo, Jenna remarked, “Those drop-waisted things were popular.”

“Which is not good for girls with curves later on,” Clarkson chimed in.

Jenna said that she and Barbara “were chubby” when they were kids, to which Clarkson retorted, “You weren’t.”

Well, Jenna said, “we were.”

Barbara admitted that in the picture Clarkson showed her audience, neither she nor Jenna appeared overweight.

Jenna insisted, “I wasn’t there, but I was.”

“I’m like, ‘I don’t think you know what chubby is,'” Clarkson shot back.

Barbara resisted admitting that she had been overweight as a child for a while before finally saying, “Well, there was a stage,” in response to Jenna’s questions.

After giving Jenna a high five, Clarkson joked, “I’ve had many stages.”
